About Andrew

Hiya! My name is Andrew Kohler. I'm a video game programmer with a Digital Arts and Sciences (BS) degree from the University of Florida. I graduated in Spring 2025 summa cum laude, and this August, I'm heading to UCF to earn my Interactive Entertainment MS at the Florida Interactive Entertainment Academy (FIEA)!

Since 2019, I've been dedicated to building my skills in game programming and development, as well as pixel art, 2D art, 3D modeling, pixel and 3D animation, writing, and even musical composition when I have the time. I'm most interested in programming, but passionate about every part of game development!

My experience spans from my time in high school on FIRST Robotics Competition Team 386 as a robotics programmer, to my employment with student indie studios Elsewhere Games and Studio Koleman, to the many game development and programming projects I've worked on during my time at UF! I've also held jobs at the UF Student Union Arts and Crafts Center and as a TA for UF's introductory Blender classes, as well as leading the student-run hiking club OUTDoors. I'm excited to see the next place my hard work, dedication, and creativity will take me!

It's me! I love the outdoors and a good scarf.
I love making pixel art - I guess you could say this is me from a different angle. Yet another angle - I love combining pixel art with low-poly models I make to bring the style into 3D!
